Maria Grazia Galata

 

Maria Grazia Galata, born in Palermo Italy, has lived and worked in Mestre Venice for many years.  A well-known Italian poet, in 2003 her poetry was published in the book "Conjunctions," with photographs by Constantine Spatafora, and by Francesca Brandes at the "Bistrot de Venice."  "Conjunctions" was presented as a video in 2004 by Marco Nereo Rotelli, Bales Arts Academy.  She has presented her work at the Romanian Institute of Culture in Venice, at the 51. Venice Biennale, with Ana Blandiana and with other poets of international renown.  At the 53rd Venice Biennale she participated with poets, along with Adonis, in "Night of Light."
Maria Grazia Galata has also been published in contemporary art journals such as "Hot Deal" by Carla Bertola.
